I'm honoured and humbled to have been re-elected as your Town Meeting Member for Precinct 8. This result is a reflection of your trust, and I don't take it lightly.
This campaign was about showing up — knocking on doors, listening to concerns, and making the case that local government can and should work better for everyone. That Precinct 8 sent me back for another term means the world to me.
Over 70% of those who cast a ballot gave me the gift of their vote. That was the highest for any contested candidate in any race town-wide. That level of trust is an incredible show of appreciation for the many hours I've devoted to this work over the last three years. I take the task of honoring that support very seriously. Belmont can do better for you, and I will work tirelessly to realize that potential.
What's next
We will meet this Fall to take up a number of issues, including some policy changes right here in Precinct 8. I will share my thoughts and seek yours as we approach that November Special Town Meeting.
